I’ve always had a focus on doing the right thing and doing it right. Perhaps it stems from my time in the military where completing the mission was such a critical factor. I learnt that preparation and testing is everything and my mantra was the 7Ps where Prior Preparation and Planning Prevents P**s Poor Performance. It’s a mantra I’ve carried over into my commercial career.
Since then I’ve spent more than 25 years in senior sales and marketing management roles within a mix of corporates and SMEs where that mantra has served me well.
I have 17 years’ plus of marketing and digital experience marrying business strategy with customer perspective, creating stronger engagement across the business, the brand and for the customer, to deliver the best experience and commercial success possible.
At every meeting to discuss a website, a campaign, an app or a piece of advertising I've been involved in, I've asked 'what are your business aims and objectives?' This question invariably changes the dynamic of the meeting, allowing everyone to focus on what really needs to happen to deliver results.
